This flu is no joke. I felt it coming on on Wednesday and even went to the Dr. to get tested for Influenza A/B so I could get Tamaflu. I also got tested for strep throat but both tests came back negative. So I don’t know what this illness is, all I know is my throat hurt for days and then Saturday night I was having full on teeth chattering chills and a fever. I spent the entire day in bed on Sunday. So needless to say, I don’t have a post for you today. =( Hoping to be better and back to posting on Wednesday! Thank you for all of your well wishes on IG. xoxo

P.S. I lived in this Matty M tee and leggings ALL.WEEKEND.LONG. Matty M is having a major launch at Costco at the end of June so run don’t walk to pick up these comfy basics!

UPDATE: unfortunately I am still bed-ridden with the longest lasting flu I’ve ever had. What started with a scratchy throat, turned into the stomach flu and now I just feel like I got hit by a truck. So I apologize but there will be no link up today. I’m guessing I won’t be back to my usual posting until next week. Thanks for your understanding and well wishes.

I wish I felt as cheery as this dress looks. Unfortunately I’ve caught whatever bug Eep had and am laying on the couch as I type this. I’m supposed to be running in a mud run on Saturday and will be SO sad if I have to miss it! Although I’m pretty sure if I don’t have the flu, I am going to die from drinking TOO much water trying to flush out whatever this illness is. I’ve even tried eating a garlic clove to fend it off. That was a big mistake because now not only does my throat hurt, but I feel sick to my stomach! I do not recommend. LOL. Hope you have a relaxing (& healthy) weekend!

Remember when I said on Friday that I was looking forward to a weekend of doing absolutely nothing? Well, we ended up making last minute plans to go out Saturday night. And then on Saturday morning, my son woke up with a 102 degree fever. Soooooo…we got to stay home and do nothing all weekend like we had originally planned. Only, with a really sick kiddo. Not fun for anyone. =(

It’s FriYAY…it’s FriYAY! And I could not be more excited about it. The gloomy May gray is finally starting to burn off a bit and I can not even tell you how happy blue skies make me.
