MICRODERM360 Giveaway

Today I am SOOOOOO excited to share my new favorite beauty tool ever…the Microderm360. I’ve used plenty of scrubs that promise microdermabrasion results but nothing has come close to the results I’ve gotten from my Microderm360. My skin was instantly smoother, softer and brighter after just one use. And the proof was right there on the filter. I know this may be a little TMI for some of you but…seeing the dead skin cells on each filter is like INSTANT gratification. Oh, and it is like a miracle worker on pesky blackheads.

Here’s how it works: Make sure you start off with clean & dry skin. Then choose the diamond tip you want to use depending on the area you are treating. And ALWAYS use a new clean filter for each treatment. I alternate between the fine tip and super fine target tip for my face and neck/decolletage. Then I keep the fine tip on for my hand treatment. And for my final treatment, I change the filter and switch to the large coarse tip for the sagging skin area just above my knees as well as my heels. Then I finish up by spraying the treated areas with the Soothe360 mist and applying my favorite moisturizers. I should probably mention that I do this routine only at nightime as it leaves your skin slightly pink. I promise it is not as time consuming as it sounds (like 5 minutes total) and the results are so instant that it is totally worth it.

The instructions say to use your Microderm360 2-3 times a week for best results. I personally use quite a few exfoliants so I’ve been alternating between my prescription Retin-A, a glycolic leave-on treatment and then on the third (or fourth) day I use my Microderm360. It is SO addicting that I am tempted to use it more.

And now…the part you’ve been waiting for…THE GIVEAWAY. One lucky Stylish Housewife reader will win their very own Microderm360 kit with the bonus super fine target tip, 100 extra filters, one Soothe360 spray and one bottle of Cleanse360 valued at $338 (US)!!! Striped Dress

They say…”If you haven’t worn it in a year, get rid of it”. I don’t know who “they” are but if I followed that rule, I never would have found this striped dress in the back of my closet. I think the rule should be more along the lines of…”if you bought it and STILL (as in NEVER) haven’t worn it in a year…then MAYBE…consider getting rid of it! But speaking of getting rid of things, I really am trying to clean out my closet. I’ve added a bunch of new things to my Poshmark closet so feel free to stop by and make me an offer! Also, if you are new to Poshmark, simply download the app and sign up using code HMRCQ to get $5 off your first purchase*.

Hale Bob Spring Maxi Dress

Does this dress make you want to be on vacation or what?!?! I instantly fell in love with the colors and print (although the black & blue dress is stunning as well). It looks like it is a separate tank & skirt but it is actually a maxi dress and is SO comfy. I’m glad I was able to wear it last week because we are expecting rain and temps in the low 60’s this week. And well, low 60’s might as well be below zero for my California blood!

P.S. See more Hale Bob looks on the blog here and here.

Spring 2015 Shoe Trends

If you haven’t noticed, I have a bit of a shoe obsession (no, seriously). So today I thought I would share my top three favorite Spring shoe trends! First up…the platform clog! I am a sucker for anything with a 70’s vibe so now my only problem is WHICH ones do I get? I am seriously torn between these, these, and these. I’ve got to be honest…I didn’t start out as a fan of block heeled sandals but they are totally growing on me. These studded black ones are my faves and the price is right. And last but not least…I was THRILLED to see that gladiator sandals are sticking around! My hubby bought me these for Valentine’s Day and I can NOT wait to wear them! Which shoe trend are you most looking forward to?!?!

Fabletics February Picks

This month I decided to try something I’ve never done before. Instead of going with my usual black or grey workout pants, I dared to try printed pants! The print and colors just made me happy so I couldn’t resist! Plus they are one of my favorite styles (Salar Capris) so it really was a win/win. And I just instantly knew the Weston Pullover had my name written all over it. I have a feeling I will be reaching for it for more than just working out!
