I was at the library the other day working on my blog (while Eep was at preschool) with one of my friends and just so happened to be wearing these booties. I was going on and on about how comfortable they were and how much I loved them but then told my girlfriend that they were from last year so SURELY they would no longer be available. I am SO excited to tell her (and you) that they are BACK IN STOCK. And this year they are available in three colors! For under $35. I HIGHLY recommend them. This weekend we had ZERO plans for the first time in a long time. On Friday I took a yoga class, met up with the hubby for lunch and then we took turns watching Eep while the other went to get a massage. It’s kind of funny because yoga usually causes me to get anxious since it just moves soooooo slow. But this time I really tried to relax and keep a zen state of mind for the rest of the day so it was fitting that my hubby suggested the massages. It was the perfect way to kick off the weekend. BTW, this romper sort of reminds me of a basketball uniform but it is one of the comfiest rompers I own!

Last year (or maybe it was the year before) I had a MAJOR obsession with drop waist dresses. I bought so many of them that I passed on this one even though I loved it. A couple of weeks ago I was trying to clean up my photo library and I came across a picture of this dress. So I half jokingly texted my bloggy friend asking her if she still had hers. At first she thought she had sold it but then a few days later I got a text saying that she had found it and was sending it my way! As soon as I received it, I threw it on and did a happy dance. You guys…my hair is driving me BONKERS. And this time, it’s not just because of my roots. My hair is that awkward length where I can’t decide if I should cut it…or grow it out. It’s also just getting so thin. I took biotin for  several months last year and then I read that one of my blogger friends started growing a beard! LOL. That is NO laughing matter but I mean…come on! I think thinning hair is better than a beard, am I right? Luckily I never noticed any extra chin hair so I may just have to grab another bottle until I can decide what to do!

I bought this dress on major clearance over at my fave local boutique a few weeks ago and I’ve already worn it to my son’s soccer game, lunch with the hubby and even to the pumpkin patch! It’s rare to find a maxi dress that you can wear off the rack with flats (at least for me…they’re usually long & require heels/wedges)! BTW, the goat at the pumpkin patch petting zoo nearly lost a tooth when I had to pull my dress out of his mouth! I think he was going for the fringe on my bag and ended up with a mouthful of my dress. Thank goodness he didn’t bite a hole in it!
