Fringe Crossbody

Black & White Trend 2

Textured Mini Skirt

Trapeze Tank

I picked this skirt up about six or so months ago and then for one reason or another, never got around to wearing it. With the textured material & zipper detailing, I envisioned it as more of a date night skirt. But it actually ended up working perfectly for a day of running errands when paired with my quilted slip-on sneakers! BTW, can you believe it is already Friday again? My life is seriously flying by at a scary fast pace! Have a great weekend my friends!

Outfit Details:
Tart Trapeze Tank (SO old)

Faux Leather Shorts

Peasant Top

Stella & Dot Sahara Necklace

For a hot minute, I thought maybe…just maybe…our weather was going to cool down a bit. I mean, I literally can NOT remember the last time I wore jeans! And I’m so bummed because I’ve got a new pair of grey skinnies and two new pairs of black skinnies that I’ve been dying to wear. So today this outfit is about as fall-ish as I’m going to get for a while because we are expecting another heat wave and Santa Ana winds later this week. It’s kind of hard to get in the PSL (pumpkin spice latte) mood when it’s blazing hot outside. Although I did just take Eep to the pumpkin patch yesterday…

Last week I threw a “girls night in” pamper party and treated my girlfriends to Sally Hansen’s new “no-light” Sally Hansen® Miracle Gel™ manicures! It had been a really long time since the four of us had gotten together so what better way to treat ourselves than with wine, girl talk and manicures?!?! BTW, I don’t know if you’ve tried Cupcake Vineyards wine before but I picked a bottle up on a whim several months ago without realizing it was a screw-top bottle of wine…just because I thought the name was cute. And all of my girlfriends ended up loving it! Plus you have to have cupcake wine with mini cupcakes!

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel

After we chatted over a glass of wine, we were ready to get our mani party going! We each picked our favorite color and had a good laugh over the fact that one of my friends always wanted to be a hand model. SO congrats Samantha…here is your big hand modeling debut! =) We are wearing (starting w/ top left and going clockwise) “Pink Cadillaquer” (shade 170), “Too Haute” (shade 520), “Redgy” (shade 330) and “Get Mod” (shade 450).

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel

I don’t get to paint my nails nearly as much as I used to, so being able to do a long-lasting at-home gel mani has been fabulous. And I’m happy to report that each one of my friends text me to let me know how impressed they were with Sally Hansen® Miracle Gel™ nail polish. Longer lasting mani’s with no chipping for days longer than their usual polish PLUS a super shiny top coat!

DIY Mani Tip: Try to avoid painting your cuticle for a more professional looking manicure.

Shabby Apple

It has been a whirlwind of a week over here. I had some of my girlfriends over for a “girls night in” party, my hubby is having a poker party tonight and we’ve got two birthdays this weekend! One of them being Eep’s 4th birthday! So I’ve sort of been running around like a chicken with my head cut-off (gah…what a horrible saying!) all week trying to plan & prepare for each of them. Our social calendar is not usually this busy so I am feeling a bit scatterbrained so I hope this post is making sense. Hope you all have a great weekend! xo
